Using UV germicidal disinfection as an alternative eliminates the need for chemical additives and expensive monitoring equipment typically required by more traditional chemical based systems. Our Germicidal Lamps are low-pressure mercury-arc lamps that emit radiation peaking at 253.7nm (UV-C). This output is highly effective to inactivate microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, yeast and mold.
